This Passernig mandolin has a huge sound with vibrant balanced tone, powerful & quick response, with clean& clear delivery. It will be very difficult to find a mandolin that costs thousands of dollars more that will be better than this instrument. This is one of the reasons these never last long. The fit, finish, & sound will hang with any of them. These are dominating & once played, it will be very easy to understand why. A rare find. It comes with a travelite semi-hard case.
