Custom Kramer DMZ 5000 Electric Bass 1970's w/OHSC

Hi: I am a left handed guitarist and I will be selling some right handed guitars and basses over the next few months. These righty instruments belonged to a deceased friend and former band mate.  I am selling these instruments on behalf of his family as a favor.

I will describe each instrument as accurately as possible and make sure they work. Of course I can't actually play them. But I am a guitarist with quite a bit of experience and a long time eBay and Reverb.com member in good standing.

These instruments have been looked-over by me, tested, and wiped down for taking pictures. They will most likely need new strings and some TLC. Everything is in good working order unless stated otherwise.

This listing is for a Kramer Model DMZ 5000 Bass. I believe it is from the 1970's or 1980's. The serial number is:A0694 and was Made In USA. It is generally in nice condition considering its age. There are no cracks or breaks on the guitar wood anywhere. This finish is really nice with only minor small marks.

Both pickups work and they look to be original. However, there is a short in the electronics which causes an audible buzz. This will have to be diagnosed and repaired. There are four toggle switches and I can't determine what each does because of the buzz. It has two black and two gold colored knobs. I don't know which are original to the guitar.
