A nice vintage Teisco "Chromezilla" Fender Jazz Bass Copy with 2 Gold Foil Pickups and a 34 Inch Scale, and non original hard case offered for sale here. The Teisco "Chromezilla" Fender Jazz Bass Copy
is in overall good condition, with wear and dings you would expect on a 50 plus year old guitar. I attempted to show some of the wear in the photos, some cracks and checking just above the bridge, some scrapes and scratches on the sides of the body, and a couple of large cracks in the finish on the inner portion each cutaway. I replaced the Teisco bridge with a knockoff Badass bridge and it allows for better intonation and string height adjustment than the original one. As seen in the side angle photo of the neck, there is a slight bow in the neck, but hey, it's a Teisco, adjusting the truss rod does not seem to do any good, but the neck has remained as seen since I bought it two years ago and it plays well without much effort. As heard in the You Tube video this is a great sounding bass, the gold foil bass pickups sound as good as the ones that are highly prized on the Teisco six string guitars. This is one pretty cool looking bass, the chrome pickguard and overall cool Teisco vibe and full scale neck make this a pretty one of a kind bass, sure you won't play it all night at a gig but you'll get some admiring looks when you pick it up for a few tunes. The hard shell case is in overall excellent condition.

You don't see many full scale Teisco basses on the market, I've never seen another one of this particular model in the 3 years I've been searching the internet for Teisco basses, except for one I bought that is identical to this one, a converted lined fretless Teisco "Chromezilla" Fender Jazz Bass Copy and will be selling soon, and it's just as cool as this one.
