Custom Vintage G&L SB-2 1983 Electric Blue Leo Fender OHSC

Fantastic 1983 early vintage Leo Fender G&L SB-2 JJ (Double Jazz).  Slab maple body, maple neck, G&L high mass bridge, J-style MFD pickups, Hipshot D-Tuner, and original hardshell case.

The SB-2 is one of the first bass models offered by G&L, and this style only between 1982 and 1984.  Afterwards, I believe they went to Ash bodies, changed the headstock, etc.  I don't see many of these in blue or fiesta red these days, and they're becoming a prized vintage instrument that's not just high quality, but attainable for the average working musician still.

I've owned this bass for about 4 years, and it's been babied in its case most of that time.  It's almost 35 years old, so it's a few blemishes but nothing major.

I've never heard or owned a more versatile, solid and high quality jazz style bass.  Make no mistake, it's not limited to classic tones.  The MFD pickups at Max volume through a beefy amp sound enormous.  You're not limited to any genre with this workhorse.
