Despite the low cost of this guitar you are getting real quality. Built by Music Man the Sterling SUB Ray4 comes with a hardwood body finished in Mint Green. We think you agree, it looks pretty ace! Bolted onto this is a quality maple neck and maple fretboard. It has a satin tint which feels great in your hands. This 4 string bass features a 34 inch scale and a 38 mm nut width. Adjusting the neck is a doddle. This is thanks to the handy location of the truss rod adjuster screw. It makes setting it up far more straight forward. The neck is attached using a 6 bolt plate. It is super strong and stable. As well as great play-ability, looks and tough construction, the Sterling by Music Man S.U.B. Ray4 is a tonal powerhouse. This is thanks to active electronics and a powerful pickup. It has a two band active preamp, cut and boost. The humbucking power of this instrument is natural without colouring the sound.
