A very nice N S Design NXT Upright Electric Bass and original soft case offered for sale here. The N S Design NXT Upright Electric Bass is in overall excellent condition, I've owned this for about 18 months, I was involved in an original music project as a bass player and bought this to use for certain songs (I mean how can you go wrong with "intonation referenced cascading dot markers" when you have no formal double bass training?) but the project flamed out so I am selling this as well as some other basses and bass amplifiers and redoubling my efforts on guitar. The bass has next to no wear and it plays nicely with a comfortable neck and sounds great amplified as heard in the You Tube video. The first half of the video the bass is in the "Arco Mode", with more of an acoustic upright bass sound, the second half of the video, the bass is in the "Pizzicato Mode", which gives the bass a more fretless electric bass sound, quite a versatile instrument. The original soft case is in excellent condition, the bass and stand fit separate zippered compartments and there is a compartment for a bow as well. The truss rod adjustment wrench is included as is the paper instruction sheet seen in the photo. I am including a bow that came with the bass when I bought it, and a set of GHS Crossovers Ground Wound Medium Gauge Bass Strings.

FINGERBOARD - Hand-graduated. Intonation referenced with cascading dot markers.
TRUSS ROD - Single Action, accessible at nut.
TUNING HARDWARE - 12:1 ratio, fully encased worm gear tuners, black finish.
POLAR PICKUP - The Polar directional piezo pickup system responds selectively to lateral string vibration, for bowing and for the percussive plucked response of a traditional acoustic instrument, or to vertical string vibration, for remarkable even and sustained plucked sound more like a guitar. A switch allows the player to choose the desired response.
ELECTRONICS & CONTROLS - Passive circuit with high impedance output, no batteries required. Volume control and Tone control (treble roll off).
