I have tried to learn it, and had a little bit fun. Now I have moved on to another less popular instrument!
This is a made in Italy Stagi treble English concertina, which plays chromatic scale and sounds the same note from both directions. These lower cost English concertina are all made with harmonica reeds, same as Jackies (made in China). I used to own a Jack (baritone version of Jackie), and would say Stagi has a smoother touch and sound in general.
48 keys gives about 3.5 octave range and some duplicated notes for advanced playing.
I have opened the instrument and apply lubricant on key mechanism every once awhile.
It is used and there are some scuff and dents but overall it's in total playing condition. Feel free to ask questions .
