handmade of all solid quality tonewoods (probably in Markneukirchen) Germany around the 1920s/1930s

-about 60,5cm total length, scale lenght about 33cm
- solid arched sprucetop with multiple wooden purfling and checkerboard binding. Nice inlayed butterfly scratchplate made of different materials
- solid bowlback body (quality) made of 21 segments + shell
- straight neck, U-shape, grafted G-style headstock, quality fingerboard with pearl dots, 17 frets, original bone nut, width at nut: 28,5mm
- original tuners with gorgeous engraved plates and small bone pegs
- original bridge with bone saddle
- original tailpiece

The mandolin is fully playable with good string action (2,5mm on the 12th fret)
The Instrukment is showing authentic and characteristical signs of the time on its original shellac varnish. A gap between the two tops halves has been properly seales/closed with an insertet spruce slice. On the left side, there is asmall sealed/glued crack to the shell.
The inserted butterflys` body seems not to be original and seems to have been replaced in the past. The surrounding white celluloide plate is partially damaged on its edges

Fingeboard and frets are showing no signs of wear. The frets have been rounded, the fingerboard has been cleaned and oild
