Jimmy Cox built 200 of these banjos in the 1990's after collaborating with banjo great Raymond Fairchild. 100 in Nickel and 100 in Gold. They have since become rare and highly sought after for their outstanding and unique sound and playability. This one is number 21 of the first 100 nickel banjos. It has been played some but is in great condition. A few minor scratches and nicks but nothing noticeable without looking closely. Very minor insignificant fret wear. No breaks, cracks, or repairs..100% solid and sound. The banjo is broken in and the sound has opened up but it has a long journey yet ahead! Comes with a nice hard case, Keith Tuners on 2 and 3, Sosebee Bridge and Snuffy Smith head.

It's actually too much banjo for me and I'm downscaling. I would consider working out a reasonable trade for an RK Elite 75 or 76 or something very close.
