Custom Gibson Blackbird Nikki Sixx Signature 4 string bass 2002 Satin Black

Up for sale is my top shelf quality 2002 Gibson USA Blackbird Nikki Sixx signature 4 string bass with the original hardshell case. I am the sole owner since purchasing it in 2003. American made, neck-through design made of mahogany and walnut, with maple 'wings' to form the body, ebony fingerboard with Iron Cross inlays, satin black finish, clear Iron Cross pick guard, on/off kill switch, 3-point adjustable tailpiece with Opti-Grab™ handle, Grover tuners and black Schaller strap lock buttons. The original truss rod tool is also included. I have made some upgrades to improve the tone by replacing the original passive humbucker pickups and the plastic nut. I have added a Warwick "Just-a-Nut I" which is 1.5" wide, made of solid brass and allows for the height of each individual string to be varied, given the adjustable screws situated in each notch allowing for more flexibility in personal set up. It also has dual active EMG DC-35 pickups that have been professionally installed by a highly reputable luthier / repair shop. It has been professionally set up with low action. The neck is straight and the truss rod works perfectly. This bass has been played at home, but never gigged, never dropped or damaged, there aren't any dents or dings. The paint is virtually flawless except for some minor scratches / swirling on the back on the upper wing only (see pictures). None of the paint has worn through to the bare wood.
