Custom Epiphone Elite EB-3 Bass- Hardshell Case-Japan Made-USA Parts-Rare

For your consideration- An Epiphone Elite / Elitist EB-3 bass guitar.

This is not the Epiphone EB-3 you can go buy at Guitar Center. This is a top of the line, made in Japan, recreation of a vintage Gibson EB-3. Most fans of the EB-3 consider them superior to the EB-3 Gibson now offers. Compare:

Pre-dates the brand change of the line from Elite to Elitist, the first few were labeled Elite such as this which conflicted with a Ovation line of guitars

I'm the second owner- Love this thing, but alas, I need the money to fund another purchase and am not a short scale guy ive found.

All Mahogany, except the rosewood fingerboard. Open back Gotoh tuners, real bone nut, 2 tone, 2 volume and a 4 channel Varitone switch. It is a short scale (30.5"). Custom-wound in the USA Humbucker (mudbucker) in the neck and a custom-wound in the USA mini-humbucker at the bridge. If you've been wanting an EB-3, this is the one to try.

Now the disclosures-

It is missing one screw on the back of a tuning machine shown,still works just fine. Ideally id maybe go to a hardware store and try a few and find a fitting one.

Normal little dings on the edges there around 4. You have to hunt to find them and they do not appear clear in pictures; or more than two feet away for that matter.

You may notice 1 screw of the 4 missing from the control plate, thats been put back on.

If you think its price high its not, these are superior to Gibsons. You have to look past the label. Earlier this year a black one sold on reverb for this price as well and black isnt as desired.
