Custom Washburn Model 1915 Style 2422 Mandolin-Natural-With Carrying Bag

o.k. folks, I'm not a Mandolin player. I thought I wanted to be so I picked up this old Washburn and gave it a try. Let's just say it's better for all involved if I stick with guitar because although I suck at that too, I suck far less than what I do on the Mando.

I'm also not terribly familiar with the Mandolin. I'll give you my best and most honest attempt at describing the instrument but cut me some slack if I don't do a great job.

I bought this because it's really pretty old and like my guitars, I much prefer vintage gear that's been around awhile. This looks pretty much all original to me. I see no indication of tuner replacement and no other signs of other mods/replacements. It's actually in pretty nice shape. I see no cracks, dents etc. It comes with what I believe is the original carrying bag. The handlle is ripped and the case itself seems pretty fragile but it will be included with the mandolin. The Mandolin and case are even older than me (that takes a lot) but looks far better IMHO.

From the research I've done, I believe the back and sides on this one are Brazilian Rosewood. I can't swear to it but I believe that to be true. For that reason, I will not ship outside the lower 48 U.S. States.
