Custom 1992 Music Man StingRay 4 Ash Body in Cherry Sunburst HipShot Drop D Tuner w/Original Hardcase!

1992 Music Man StingRay 4 is in excellent condition and perfect playing order. Comes with the original hardcase.

The original low E tuning key was replcaed with a HipShot drop D tuner, otherwise it's all original!

It's clear to see this Made in USA bass has seen many miles over it's 25 year life, and the character marks to show it. The back of the body has a good amount of buckle rash, from scuffs and scrapes to dings and gouges. It's got a few small dings/chips in the finish around the top edges. The biggest one is on the edge of the bass side horn. The treble side edge of the fretboard has finish wear from being played profusely, that starts at the 1st fret and goes to the 10th fret, but poses no playing issues. On the back of the neck are a couple spots of subtle impressions, one behind the A and D strings at the 2nd fret. The other is at the 4th fret in the middle of the neck. Thankfully, none of which can be really noticed while playing. The frets have some wear but don't care any buzzing or sitar effect. There's a ding on the side of the neck, in-between the nut and headstock on the bass side edge.

Constructed from a 2-piece ash body, finished in cherry sunburst, 6-bolt bolt-on birdseye maple neck and fretboard with a medium C profile and 21 frets.

Single humbucking pickup with and active 3-band EQ. The bridge has the original string mutes.

Has a 1 11/16" nut width, 34" scale length, and weighs 9 pounds 8 ounces.
