Cigar Box Ukulele

This concert sized Ukulele plays great, the "Arturo Fuente" box has an excellent resonance, loud enough to play it unplugged. The fret board is very comfortable with good action.
This is an acoustic/electric instrument with a piezo pickup placed inside the box, right under the bridge, you can plug it into an amp using a regular guitar cable.

Ukulele details:

Body: I used an "Arturo Fuente" cigar box. It has a beautiful tone, either acoustic or amplified. I flip the box and use the bottom of it at the ukelele "top" and resonance board. The reason being that this board is 100% cedar wood and provides excellent resonance. The box lid and its beautiful graphics is now the back side of the Uke.
Neck and fingerboard: The neck is made from mahogany wood. 
Scale: 15 inches scale from nut to bridge 
Frets: It has 18 frets, no buzzing, and excellent playability. the action is low enough to play comfortably. 
Amplification: it has a piezo pickup mounted under the bridge, inside the box. It sounds amazing!
Finish: I use several coats of linseed oil, it brings up the natural beauty of the wood.
Tuners: geared, vintage style.
