handmade of all solid quality tonewoods in Germany around the 1920s / 1930s

- about 79,5cm total length, scale lenght about 46,5cm
- solid quality sprucetop with multiple wooden purfling edge and wooden binding, with a nice soundhole ornament
- solid maple teardrop body with nice flamed arched onepiece back, body depht 9cm, wide on bout 31,7cm, sides height 6cm - 7,6cm
- straight maple neck with grafted & slotted headstock, quality fingerboard with pearl dots, 17 frets , original bone nut, width at nut: 43,5mm
- brass tuners with small bone knobs
- layed-on original bridge with brass saddle

The Waldzither is fully playable with very good string action (2,1mm at the 12th fret)
In a former repair, two cracks in top and one in the back were properly sealed/closed. The original varnish has been replaced with a dull shellac varnish of due to the repair
All the (well done) repairs have NO effect on playability or the good tone of this fine instrument.

Fingerboard and frets are showing No signs of wear. The frets were rounded, the fingerboard was cleaned and oiled
