Custom Fender Custom Shop 1959 Precision Bass Relic

Up for sale is a very kool Fender Custom Shop 1959 Precision Bass Relic. The fact that it is Black alone makes it Rare. I have only seen one other like it, currently for sale at just over $4000. This one was made around 2004. Again just like back in the day Black seems to be much harder to find. Blonde and Sunburst are more common. It has nice finish checking front and back that wont show up in the pics. The neck is extremely nice and has some finish wear on the edges shown in the picture. Relic is stamped in the body under the neckplate  and also stamped in the neck pocket and on the back of the neck butt.  Serial number on the neck plate starts with "R" for Relic. Also the Custom Shop Logo is on the back of the Headstock. The bass has tone and then some, picguard has a nice Patina like its been played a lot.  Aged parts make it look awesome. To me the necks Rosewood is very Dark and looks like my Old Black one I had back in the day. Unbroken solder joints. Frets are like new, it has had flat wounds on it. I just got the word today that Fenders Custom Shop is going to stop making the 59 series. So here you go. Comes with chrome covers and correct Tweed Case.
