Custom Gibson "A" Style Mandolin 1949 Gloss Tobacco Burst

Well used Gibson A-50 style mandolin.  Beautiful quilted maple back and enormous sound out of this refurbished instrument.  Nut, bridge and pick guard luthier repaired/replaced 6 years ago prior to my purchase.  Original chip-board case.  Several repaired cracks and extensive checking and crazing.  Visible wear on the neck as well that I attempted to capture in the pictures.  Looks like a relic instrument and has a beautiful patina.  

Not an expert on mandolins but happy to answer any questions you may have.  Please be aware of the cosmetic condition prior to submitting an offer.  None of the issues appear to affect the sound of the instrument.
