Custom Rickenbacker 4001 V63 1998 Black

This is a prime, and MINT example of a 1998 Rickenbacker 4001 V63 reissue bass in Jetglo (black). There were mostly mapleglo and fireglo sold in the V63 bass and not as many in Jetglo can be found, especially in this mint condition with a mint cond Ric vintage silver HSC. 
I had a custom made anodized, late 50's style, Ric gold sparkle pickguard made for this bass and still have the original white pickguard that will come with this sale. 
All works pristinely and the frets are still like new.  Great collectors item or for players who wish to be unique on stage.  I have a 4001 V64 Ric bass and the pickups on this V63 have a little more output and balls than the V64.  
Rickenbacker no longer makes the 4001 V63 bass, so it has become a highly collectable bass now and will increase in value even more over time. Safer investment than the stock exchange. LOL!  Neck is straight with low, fast action. Bass is rock solid, plays and sounds killer !
Serial number R17959 which equates to being made in May, 1998.  Smoke free environment.
