QUALITY teardrop MANDOLIN

Handmade of all solid tonewoods by the DOTZAUER Luthier family in Tennenlohe/Germany around the 1950s


-about 61cm total length, scale lenght about 33,6cm
- solid quality sprucetop with multiple black-white binding. Nice inlayed ebony scoll scratchplate
- solid teardrop maple body,arched back made of 5 solid maple segments, body depht 9cm
- straight maple neck with, slotted headstock, ebony fingerboard with pearl dots, 18 frets + zerofret, original bone nut, width at nut: 29,5mm
original tuners with brass plates and small bone pegs
- original quality 
- original DREIMA  tailpiece

The mandolin is in age very good condition and fully playable with good string action (2mm on the 12th fret)

There are no cracks or damages  on this fine mando

The original shellac varnish is showing very slightly signs of the time
Fingeboard and frets are showing no signs of wear. The frets have been rounded , the fingerboard was cleaned and oiled

The strings are new
