Carvin BB76P Custom Bunny Brunel Signature 6 String Bass Guitar in excellent condition. Nice Oyster Pearl Metallic finish with black hardware. The pickups and active electronics sound very good. The 24 fret, neck thru design with ebony fingerboard feels very comfortable. Overall this instrument has a quality look and feel. It plays and sounds great. Includes a hard shell case.

Standard electronics consist of 2 Carvin HB2 humbuckers with our 18V active/passive electronics module. Controls consist of 1 volume, 2 pickup blends, bass, middle and high frequency. Toggle switch to split pickups. (These pickuos are similar to the MusicMan design. You can have all 4 in use or with the selection of the switch have the ones nearest the neck and or bridge work). There are several combinations to choose from. Really versatile. The red stuff one the control knobs can be removed. They are only for protection. I installed 2 strap locks on the bottom similar to the Hohner Professional B Bass Design which enables you to lean the instrument against some thing (ie., wall or amplifier) instead of using a music stand. String thru body for a greater sustain.

First introduced in 1992, the BB76 has proven popular with 6-string bassists that want a contemporary design, superior balance and unsurpassed playability. In late 2008, the BB Series underwent a design change - working with Bunny Brunel, the upper horn was reshaped, with the cutaway being reduced by 1/2", and the horn thickness increased by 1/8". This adds a few ounces of additional mass near the center of gravity of the instrument, which improves the balance while maintaining the unique look of the bass. The BB76 active bass is built to the highest possible standards with features found only on high-end and boutique basses, without the boutique price. The BB76 is more than just a great looking, great playing bass - it's a work of art that you'll be proud to play and own for a lifetime.

The BB76 features an alder body with an asymmetrical maple neck-through design. Alder is a high-quality tone wood used by many manufacturers because of it's relative light weight and and fine resonating tone and upper midrange definition. It's slightly darker in color than maple, which accentuates the BB76's maple neck. Alder also has a subtle and attractive grain that looks great.
