Custom Vintage Vega Banjo Guitar 1927-28, VGC w/hsc, new frets, Set up to play

Vintage Vega Guitar Banjo, Little Wonder model, matching serial #s 78682, circa 1927-28, EC for frets, fretboard and structural integrity, GC cosmetically. Check out the video link below - Friend Adam fingerpicks a nice tune. Plays clean without buzzing, comfortable neck and action, Great tone and volume - very cool and quite unique if you are used to playing a traditional guitar. Not surprisingly, it sounds like a banjo but the silk and steel strings recommended by Bob Smakula out of WVA mellow it out. One could also try stringing it up with standard guitar strings - why not?

Includes a vintage/original functioning hard shell case. 11 and 3/4" Little Wonder pot, neck width is 1 and 11/16ths" at the nut, 12th fret string height at 3/32nds" both treble and bass. 4/32nds" with second bridge, professional re-fret just done ($200 smackers). Comes with two bridges. Good, older calf skin head, Tortoise shell binding is solid and attached but cosmetically challenged (see photo) Hooks, nuts and shoes show tarnish (see photo). All the hardware looks original with the exception of 2 nut/hooks which have better plating but match the others. Solid, original tailpiece - that's a big deal. Here's a cool fact - The Little Wonder model was played by Johnny St. Cyr of Louis Armstrong's Hot Five - recording in and around 1925. That's quite a pedigree and an endorsement.
