Custom Deering Deluxe Six

Here's a doozy!

For sale is an awesome 2000 Deering Deluxe Six 6 string banjo! You just do not see these come up for sale often and at the price of $3800.00 new, you understand why!

Ive owned this 6 string banjo for about 5 years. I bought it used from an elderly gentleman who bought it brand new. At the time, I was on the road and could justify an expense like this to play it on the one song a night it called for. It's sat in my recording studio ever sense getting very little use.

I've got a craving for a '56 style Goldtop now, so I've decided to let this beast go.

The banjo has its original Deering brand resonator head (see pictures for condition). It plays very well but could probably use a few minor adjustments to suit your playing style. As it is, it's ready for the stage. It comes with the OHSC and a pickup already installed. I believe the pickup is a K&K, but I never even opened up the basket to see. It sounded great and that's all I cared about.

Let's talk price. What I really want is a '56 style Goldtop. Something that either has a bigsby, or something I can put a bigsby on. Also looking for a chunky neck on it. If you've got a trade, I'm down!
