Custom Gibson Victory Artist Electric Bass Guitar - Candy Apple Red w/OHSC

1981 Gibson Victory Artist Electric Bass Guitar in good condition but does have a good amount of wear (mostly around the edges). There is a moderate amount of dents and dings on the front and back. There are two areas of the finish that are rough. The one is on the front where your forearm crosses. The other area is on the back on the edge of the belly route (see pictures). Classic Candy Apple Red finish with a black pickguard and chrome hardware. The bass has a nice action and the maple neck with a rosewood fretboard has a great feel. The frets are in very good condition with only mild playwear.

The two pickups have a great tone and the active electronics really let you dial in great sounds. The electronics are a master volume, -18db/+16db bass, -18db/+16db treble, pickup selector switch and another switch to select between passive /active and a -12db midrange scoop setting. The electronics are very functional and make the bass very versatile. The bass is equipped with a Badass Bass II bridge, a brass nut and still has the original Gibson tuners. A very sold bass that was innovative for Gibson in the 80's and still holds its own against todays modern basses - a classic.

Includes the original hard shell case. The handle was busted and has been replaced with cord.
