The new for 2017 Fender American Professional Jazz Bass is for the modern bassist who demands cutting-edge tone technology along with timeless style and fast, smooth playing feel.
The famous Jazz body is cut from alder for a lively and brilliant attack with the high mass bridge and fluted machines creating excellent resonance and sustain.
It is finished in Olympic White for an exceptional look. The iconic multi-ply Mint pickguard and chrome control plate complete the look.
All the Jazz Bass tone is carried by a pair of Michael Bump designed V-Mod pickups.
The V-Mods use Alnico V mags on the treble side, and Alnico 2 mags on the bass side- a whole new custom take on bass tone.
These beauties produce classic vintage Jazz Bass tone and dynamics with completely noise-free performance.
These run into the classic volume, volume, tone control circuit- familiar and effective.
The maple/rosewood neck is designed for fast playing and effortless position changes.
This features a Slim C neck profile and 9.5" radius for a fantastic feel.
Holding everything down is a HiMass Vintage Bridge that increases note attack and resonance for thunderous bass lines with huge punch and systain. This bridge even allows for both top-load and string-thru-body stringing.
The new Fender American Professional Jazz Bass is a stunning instrument made for the player in search of the highest quality, the best tones, and the utmost playability.
