Excellent 5-string banjo with great acoustic sound when used with good equipment. In my experience it has a realistic acoustic sound run direct with a good PA and Baggs Venue or Fishman Aura Spectrum preamp.

Head signed by Bela Fleck in pencil.

Features: Gloss black-finished alder body; 22-fret flamed maple neck with 26 1/4” scale length, 1 1/4” nut, adjustable truss rod, ebony fretboard, etched diamond fingerboard MOP inlays, railroad spikes at frets 7, 8, 9 & 10; 24 hooks w/1/4” hex nuts, nickel-plated notched brass tension hoop; brass tone ring; Presto tailpiece; aged maple bridge; 2 custom-designed EMG active pickups (battery compartment in back) that lightly contact the head for fast response and excellent tone; 3-way pickup switch, volume & tone knobs, 1/4” output jack.

Weight: 9.6 lbs.  Protec canvas-covered semi-hard foam case. Almost no fretwear.  Very light scratches in black finish on back (no belt buckle rash).

Overall excellent condition and ready to gig.  Selling only because health unfortunately precludes gigging.
