The stunning guitar you are presently viewing is the Jason Smith, one-of-a-kind J-Bass in a one-of-a-kind color that Fender created for this and only this instrument (yes, another burst finish by Jason!). Jason Smith decided to complement his unique Stratocaster creation with a 60's NOS Jazz Bass. It too is an a piece of art and is phenomenally crafted. It is finished in Sage green metallic burst - with matching head stock -UNREAL. We have an alder body along with a quarter-sawn maple neck. The bass has a rosewood fretboard, and a 9.5" radius neck with medium jumbo frets. The neck is a '60 P Bass oval "C" shape. It also contains hand-wound vintage jazz bass pickups. Totally killer... This bass was specially made for the 2015 NAMM show and has all the trademarks of vintage combined with stunning modern finishing techniques.
