Custom Lemur Tosca Double Bass 3/4 Vintage Amber

Lemur upright double bass, Brian Bromberg model, ¾ Size, carved wood. Italian design. $1750. This bass was damaged when it was originally shipped to the US and was repaired by a professional luthier and appears to be stable. It retails for $5,900 new. Lemurs Tosca Bass was designed for easy access playability, with a nicely carved top that produces a rich tone and a good fundamental. It's Italian design makes it a smaller sized 3/4 Bass nicely sloped shoulders and the slightly "flattened" lower bout. It is a proven jazz favorite having a clear mid range and plenty of projection. Not surprisingly some Tosca bases also make excellent orchestral bases too. This particular Bass was made in China by one of China's top builders.
