Custom Steinberger XL-2 Bass 1987 Black

Original owner - I still have the original invoice from 1987! This is the much sought-after Steinberger XL-2 Graphite Bass with original gig bag.

This bass has no issues and is in very good condition. All knobs and EMG pickups work perfectly, and the there is no other bass with this sound and playability.  The boomerang strap connector in the back has the normal edge wear and works fine, and the thigh kickstand is perfect. There is normal surface swirling that could likely be buffed out if you are that patient. The neck is clean and smooth.

It plays and records like new and the sound is unmatched, - great highs, midrange, and tight low bottom tones - incredibly crisp yet solid on tape or live. It has been stored in plastic in my basement for the last 10 years, and I really hate to sell it, but I have several other basses and it is time for me to let it go.
