Custom 1983 Dean Bel Aire USA made bass, pearl white + hard case

1983 Dean Bel Aire USA Bass. Early 80's, pretty rare. According to the correspondence I've had at the Dean Guitars website they only made about twenty or less of these in the US shop.

If you look at the last picture the folks at the Dean guitar forum in their original handwritten log books believe this bass had a build number of "5508". There were only a few of these built and this pickup configuration and color might be one-of-a-kind. Serial #07xxx imprinted on the neck pocket heel.

It has finish checking and peeling that is fairly typical for some old Deans. I think the color was originally pearl white which has yellowed with age. Needs new strings and a set-up. As pictured there is a small crack near one of the tuners; seems stable but wouldn't be a bad idea to reinforce it.

The factory TKL case shows some wear but it's still solid and does the job.
