Vintage Orpheum New York BanjoMandolin  w/ Soft Case, or if you want to be different, call it a mandolinebanjo.
Pre 1950s, likely early 1900s, but can't guarantee exact age. 

Tuning machine heads are deteriorated, they still turn, but tuning with these is at your own risk. They should be replaced and kept in a baggie for originality purposes. Scratches on back. See photos for condition.
