Custom Sherwood By Gretsch Soprano Ukulele 50s Natural

This old 50s ukulele is in great shape for how old it is! Tuners seem loose but will leave it up to the buyer whether to fix or change. 1 owner and has never been worked on and is all original down to the rosewood nut. Hasn't been played much. Comes with original case, a book that's just as old, and an Arthur Godfrey uke player that's also just as old. See pics. Don't hesitate to ask questions. Below is what I dug off the internet.



These "Sherwood" branded ukes were made for Montgomery Wards and are exactly the same as any other bound Gretsch uke from the time save it says "Sherwood" on the headstock decal rather than "Gretsch."

These ukes are built extremely-thin and lightweight and, as such, have an excellent tone. They're kind of dry, bright, and sparkly which is quite different from your average Martin from the same era, even though they're appointed in a similar way and built to the same thinness.
