Custom Vintage Shakuhachi 1970's Natural

This is a fine traditionally crafted madake bamboo shakuhachi. Made in 70's Japan it has a black urushi lacquered bore and bone inlay utaguchi (mouthpiece).
In the key of 'D' it is suitable for play in traditional Japanese music ensemble with koto and shamisen.
 
The flute has smooth breathy mellow sound and its 3rd octave is very accessible. No cracks and hardly any wear. I recommend this flute for the serious amateur, or advanced beginner.
It comes with a one year warranty, meaning repairs are free if needed for up to one year after purchase.
