Custom Rare 1966 Univox Custom 335 4-String Bass in Red Burst with Original Case

Now this is way cool...

I got lucky the other day and came across this cool 1966 Univox Custon 335 4-String Bass. The condition, as you can see from the pics, is very good. Shows the checking you would expect from a bass this old. 

Electronics work as they should... and the tone is, well... amazing! Has to be heard to be believed. All original from the trapeze tail-piece to the tuning machines. Very rare bass and even more rare to find in this condition! The body is triple bound as is the pickguard. The pups sound phenomenal! 

Made in Japan by the Matsumoku factory in the mid 1960s... Vintage and rare. Could use a set up to make it yours. Cool checking throughout... There is also a laquer check on the back of the neck near the headstock... just a laquer check not a crack.
