This is an early 1980s SB-2. They don't make this one anymore, with the fat MFD pickups. At some point this went back to G&L for a tummy cut and a new black paint job, making it like the Lynx bass that came after the SB-2.

Various dings and rashes but it sounds amazing for a 35-year/old bass.

It's all original The best of Leo Fender bass design, pick ups get the Precision Bass and jazz bass sounds in one bass. Neck is narrower Like a Jazz bass and plays awesome! Maple fingerboard, nitro finish, a great collectible vintage bass. Original Passive Leo Fender adjustable pole pickups, great sound and no dealing with pesky batteries.
