This is a VERY NICE Selmer Mark VI Tenor Saxophone. The Mark VI tenor is a modern icon of saxophones. Made popular by countless jazz greats, the Mark VI is generally considered the finest saxophone ever made, and pristine examples can command prices well in excess of $15000. This horn has the original lacqer at about 35% (see pics). There are a couple of minor dents, but nothing major and no signs of serious damage. Pads and action are excellent and this horn plays GREAT! Sonny Rollins plays a tenor from this vintage, and now you can too! WOW! Pics tell the rest of the story!
