Custom Bach Stradivarius Trumpet 1979 Silver Plated 37 Bell

Vincent Bach combined his unique talents as both an accomplished musician and a talented engineer to create brass instruments of unequalled tonal quality.

The 180 Series with a 37 bell is the most popular of all the Bach Stradivarius models, the 37 bell lends a flexibility to the sound that makes the trumpet versatile for all playing styles.

Handmade in Elkhart, Indiana, the Bach 18037 has a one-piece hand-hammered #37 bell and a .459" medium-large bore. It features standard one piece brass valve casings, standard yellow brass bell, a #25 mouthpipe and monel pistons. It has a striking silver plated finish.

This Stradivarius dates to 1979, and is in remarkably good condition for its age.  There is some wear to the plating, as shown in the pictures.  The bell has had some dents that have been expertly repaired, and there is a small patch on the leadpipe.  The repairs do not affect the sound on this horn, as this plays with a clear tone from top to bottom.
