Custom 1963 Gibson Patent Number PAF Mini Humbucker Pickup Nickel Epiphone Sorrento Sheraton 1962 1961

Original 1963 Gibson "Patent Number" PAF mini humbucker pickup.  Nickel cover.  Very nice pickup in excellent vintage condition.  Very clean.  This pickup was removed from a 1963 Epiphone Sorrento project guitar.  Pickup has been tested and it is fully functional...ready to install.  It sounds fantastic, as expected.

This pickup measures a strong 6.24K ohms on my multimeter and its braided lead wire is 13.25 inches long.  Patent sticker is legible and in decent condition with minor chipping.  You can clearly see the "PATENT NO 2,737,842" markings.  Original Nickel cover is in great shape with a few minor dents/dings on the front near the adjustable pole screws.  Very nice natural vintage patina to the Nickel plating that gives it a fine "relic'd" appearance.  The original mounting ring and screws are NOT included.

This pickup is vintage correct for Epiphone Sorrento, Sheraton, Professional, and other models manufactured from 1960 - 1965.  During this time, Epiphone guitars were built by Gibson...so this is a legitimate Gibson pickup.  Perfect part for a vintage Gibson/Epiphone restoration or to add some vintage mojo and tone to your newer reissue guitar.
