Custom Kay K20-B bass guitar early seventies three colour sunburst

Kay K20-B bass made in the early seventies in Taiwan. This is a great looking bass; the solid body with two cutaways. It is finished in a three colour sunburst with white scratchplate, and with two chromed pickups with black surrounds, each with volume and tone controls plus a three-way pickup selector switch and with the original finger rest.

The bridge/tailpiece is fully adjustable and still has its original chrome cover. The neck is in a good condition and is bolted on; and the rosewood fingerboard contains 20 frets. The headstock is a typical Kay shaped headstock and it contains the "''K'' logo on the truss rod cover, two string retainers and a very good set of replacement tuners. The bass has a 30 inch scale and weighs just over seven pounds so it is very useable.

There are some knocks and scratches on the back and bottom edge of the body but it is all original apart from the replacements tuners and is fully functioning. Not an easy bass to find nowadays and consequently sought after.
