Custom Eko Cobra bass mid sixties white

Eko Cobra bass made in the mid sixties in Italy - its a very nice original bass and its pretty difficult to find this model which has a single slanted pickup. The body is in white with a black scratchplate which contains the single pickup and volume and tone controls. The controls are fairly stiff and this may well be because this bass has not had a great deal of use - the frets and fingerboard show little wear as well.

The bolt on neck is maple with a rosewood 21 fret fingerboard and the neckplate is stamped with the serial number. The headstock has the ''Eko'' logo and four on a side tuners; and on the back of the headstock are the words ''made in Italy''. The bridge is a tune-o-matic style model and the tailpiece is small and chromed.

Its a great bass to play, all functioning well and in a remarkably clean condition with very little marking except for one larger chip shown in the final picture.
