This is a spectacular looking bass. Awesome quality paint job with a BEAUTIFUL RED transparent color. The response of this solid maple neck will make you play all night. This Walnut wood quality is comparable to Made in America quality wood. Walnut is used for it's wonderful structural and aesthetic properties, as well as the sound. People may argue about different types of body woods and how they affect the sound. But one thing many bass players agree with is the beauty of walnut. The maple neck gives you that wonderful contrast in color. Price does not always correlate with quality. In this case that same thing applies. Our bass is awesome no matter what. We're supposed to sell it for more, but as the only dealers in America, we have a lot of control. You CAN'T get anything better for this price point. Playability is INSANE. It is like playing on butter, that is how smooth the neck is. We have personally played this bass for hours without wanting to stop. We compared all Wolf Bass' and Guitars to guitars for the sake of comparing wood quality. We used the LTD Deluxe and Epiphone Les Paul Deluxe Models and Wolf had better wood than both of them. All they did was change the pick-ups and tuners, so Wolf is a much better deal.We let our customers play this Wolf SA4 bass here in store, and they were all amazed by the sound. Also they dropped their jaw for the price!How does it sound? Punchy and clear sound! The pick-ups and electronics are above average. You can't ask for more at this price! We compared Wolf pick-ups to other big bass pickup brands like Fender and EMG. Wolf Pickups did not lose! Wolf has done a COMPLETE Reboot!Do not compare Wolf instruments from before 2015 and not from All in One Guitars.You may ask who or what is Wolf? They're MIK by brand with big funding, latest CNC machine so that means much detailing and accuracy.Some people think Wolf is not that good, and people write bad reviews. Why? Because 2-3 out of 100 instruments are not up to quality, which is normal in guitar factories, but problem is some retailers that got from NAMM Show before 2015 still sell them without inspection!! Also Wolf has Active Electronics and Pre-amp settings are on full volume. It should be adjusted to players taste.
