Description

The Schecter CV-5 Electric Bass is looks hot and plays well. An alder body with a sharp black finish offers a clean and modern look. The neck and fingerboard has smooth, fast Schecter feel, while EMG pickups and active electronics offer enough sonic versatility to cover a wide range of musical styles. The bridge pickup features a dual-coil design for low noise and plenty of output and ceramic and steel design. The CS design has the punch and fullness of the older passive designs with added brightness for a better-defined tone. EMG's Active ceramic and steel series pickups feature the same construction and have proven popular among bass players.The SJHZ neck pickup uses a loaded design with ceramic magnets and a laminated steel core for increased output and lower noise. On the top, there is a four-saddled hard tail bridge with two pickups in the front.
