You are looking at a new Ibanez SR805 5 string bass guitar. It is the very nice Whisky Mahogany Burst natural finish. This is a real player and if you know Ibanez basses, this neck plays fast and smooth all the way up! The action is very good as you would expect from the ever-popular SR5 neck.
It has dual Bartolini humbucking pickups. These are very gutsy but with the 3 band eq you can dial-in any tone you need. There is also a blend knob so you can mix the two pickups. Great for jazz, slapping, hard rock, any style. Note the nice looking gold hardware as well!
I bought this about a year or so ago and thought I might have a need for a 5 string. Unfortunately, I still prefer a 4 string bass. This instrument is fantastic but it is just sitting in my music room. I've never gigged with it. You can pay $900 for a new one at Sweetwater or just buy the same thing at my price.
I have a gig bag that will go with the bass. Take my word for it, this is a nice bass, it needs to be played!
