Custom Fender Precision Bass 1963 Rare Custom Finish

Very Rare Custom finish Fender Precision bass 1963 (S/N.97218) unusual purple/blue to black two tone that is unique and very unusual for this instrument. Flat round strings attached. This bass sounds lovely, all original parts and screws and in great condition for its age. There is some usual play-wear, knocks, scratches over the body, the original frets are in good condition too. The original thumbrest and chrome bridge & pickup cover are missing but can be easily replaced if needed. 

Alder body. It has a wide and slim C profile Maple neck with a lovely dark Rosewood fingerboard. It's missing the thumbrest and the bridge & pickup cover but otherwise all original. 2 previous owners. The current last owner had it since 1973 from Guitar Village - Shaftesbury Avenue. London.
