Custom 1976 Rickenbacker 4001 Bass White

You really can't beat a Rickenbacker 4001 bass when it comes to the variety of tones and colors it can produce. Add in the fact that it is quite pleasing to the eye and you've got an instrument for the ages. The white with black binding look is one of our favorite looks on a Rick and they only get cooler and cooler over time as the paint turns to a creamier shade of white. The fret-board is a little darker than you normally see too which nicely contrasts with the body. There are a couple of mods to note; there is a brass nut installed and once upon a time there was another bridge and synth pickup installed. There is a now a reproduction bridge installed for a more correct look but you can still see two small holes on each side of it. The pickguard has a repair above the neck pickup from where a thumb-rest was installed and cracked the guard. The neck is straight and it's a fabulous player. 9.5 lbs.
