Product Description
Very Rare!! For sale is one genuine Gibson 1970's Thunderbird Pickup cover and ring set in excellent condition. Purchased from an Ebay seller that was liquidating vintage Gibson parts several years ago. Temporarily used on a bass project where they were covering smaller pickups for a visual effect.
The nickle covers are in great condition with minor string marks but the finish is all there, no missing plating from wear. These covers are 3/4" deep and have the 3 screw holes for mounting unique to 70's Thunderbird pickups. The rings have 6 screw holes for mounting. Would be great for winding your own pickups in true vintage shells or to give your modern Thunderbird a vintage look. These covers are empty. These are not complete pickups.
Mounting hardware NOT included.
