Prestige Guitars are some of the finest guitars available. They hail from Vancouver, BC, Canada. This guitar is made from a 5-piece laminated wood block and the entire guitar is carved from that. The finish is transparent black. You can see the various wood pieces all the way through the body up through the neck and headstock. You can also see some of the flaming in the solid maple body. All the woods in these guitars are hand picked in Vancouver from the same wood supplier as several other high end manufacturers. The C&C work, routing and painting are done in one of Korea's finer manufacturing facilities. Then all electronics and hardware are assembled and setup in Vancouver.

All the components are high end USA or Canadian. They use Grover tuners. Electronics include Active Alnico single coil / humbucker pickups, volume (push/pull) / tone control, 3-band EQ, and active electronics.

These are highlighted by a powerful "Bad-Ass"-style graphite bridge and Gloss Transparent Black Finish.
Prestige has discontinued this line and these are some of the last few remaining so these are a rare find. I believe this bass was from 2010 or so.

*** Since it has been around a few years I suggest that you plan on giving this bass a setup to meet your standards.  While this has never been gigged, it does have some buzzing at the lower frets and will require a setup and reintonation.  It just hasn't been played.

Description

The entire instrument is carved out of 5 piece maple. This allows for a super sturdy structure, not to mention well balanced tone and sound throughout. The Wylde bass is equipped with dual Alnico Active humbucker pickups for thick, warm and loud Rock n’ Roll.
