From its instantly recognizable body style to its distinctive tone, the Monterey Deluxe is built to be seen as well as heard. Combining set neck construction with the 5A quilted maple top, the Monterey is built for the professional bassist who demands performance with no compromise.

Built specifically for the 5 string player in mind, the Monterey 5 has spacing and playability conducive to five string technique. This is not a rehash, this was designed from the ground up for the needs of 5 string players everywhere.

Other amenities include: a 22-jumbo-fret Rosewood fingerboard with pearl split trapezoid inlays, Graph Tech TUSQ XL nut, Bass Tuneomatic bridge with tailpiece, dual EMG 35DC/40DC soapbar active humbuckers with FGI active preamp system and Gotoh tuners.
