With an outrageously fat tone and a perfectly tight low end this StingRay 5 lets the modern day player roll in and out of any playing situation with confidence and consistency. The body is very resonant and the neck is a total joy to thump on. The neck-thru sustain is seemingly limitless. The bass has a lively response to it and will excel any gig or recording session where a thick, but tight low end and punchy, yet crisp top is desired. The StingRay 5 neck through series basses offers many of the same great features as its bolt on predecessors with more resonant construction and superior high register fret access. The neck through StingRay 5 features a 3 piece maple neck through ash body with a rosewood fretboard for plenty of sustain and a smooth, solid feel. The newly designed preamp provides a full and robust tonality while retaining excellent clarity and crisp attack.
