Custom 1967 Rickenbacker 4005 Bass Fireglo Rare

An incredibly rare Rickenbacker 4005 bass from 1967 in a still very vibrant Fireglo finish. Rickenbacker made only about 70-80 of these and they are highly sought after collector pieces. This one has been played, but has been well taken care of and absolutely does not disappoint.  A little bit of wear on the back of the neck heel, and some worming here and there in the finish, but nothing that you wouldn't expect from a guitar that's nearly 50 years old. Overall it is in very good condition. All original with the exception of the thumb rest. The original has been replaced and moved, see pictures. Otherwise this one is 100% original and playing great. We have just fully gone through, set up and cleaned all the electronics. All the TLC has been taken care of and this wonderful bass is ready to go for another 50 glorious years.
