Custom Hofner 500/1 Beatle bass 1965 Violin Burst

Höfner 500/1 Beatle bass from 1965. Original made in West Germany, not a reissue.

In suberb playing condition - professional neck reset and pickups rewound to original specs by a luthier, all original. The bridge has been filed down a bit on the bottom side as seen in the photos by the previous owner to lower the string height and improve playability. Nice action, strong output, all the electronics work, truss rod works, has some natural wear from 50 years of playing, lots of life left in the frets.

Great example of a classic Hofner that easily produces the desired "tic-tac" sound.

The original hard case is long gone. The bass can be shipped anywhere in Europe.
